Fresh particulars have surfaced concerning the shocking deaths of renowned filmmaker Rob Reiner and visual artist Michele Singer Reiner, whose bodies were found at their Brentwood, Los Angeles property on Sunday.

The Discovery

As detailed in an account referencing a family associate, a massage therapist scheduled for an session first raised the alarm after failing to get inside the home. The practitioner then reached out to the couple's daughter, Romy Reiner, who lives in the vicinity.

After gaining access to the residence, Romy discovered her father's body. Accounts indicate she then exited the property overwhelmed with grief, without knowing at that moment that her mother's body was also present. A companion who had gone with her then dialed 911. Afterward, first responders discovered Michele Singer Reiner's body.

The police have formally accused the couple's 32-year-old son, Nick Reiner, with two counts of premeditated murder, including the charge related to a weapon, said to be a knife. He is now detained and denied bail.
