After much anticipation fans can commence: first five minutes of the fifth season of Stranger Things revealed.

The fifth series of the streaming giant's supernatural phenomenon the hit series is expected to be among the most anticipated releases of the year. The first part airs on 27 November, however a clip of the chilling opening five minutes has been shared digitally.

The Beginning: A Return to 1983

The episode, called the prologue, takes fans to the origins of the show in the early '80s, after the disappearance of the boy.

Production Insights

The unexpected preview was uploaded online subsequent to the series' Hollywood event on Thursday, which was attended by actors including Millie Bobby Brown and another key actor.

"The scale of it is larger … It features heightened thrills and more special effects, yet it's also without a doubt the most poignant part because it concludes of the story for all of these characters," the production's head writer, recently said about the final episodes.

His brother and partner, stated: "Launching it to the public is anxiety-inducing, but we feel equipped to present it at last."
